The Resilient Pharmacist Podcast

The Irish Institute of Pharmacists (IIOP) has launched a series of podcasts - “The Resilient Pharmacist”, which has been developed in collaboration by pharmacists in the IIOP Mental Health Ambassador Network, and IIOP Mental Health and Wellbeing working group, to raise awareness about important and relevant issues.

In this 10-episode podcast, Catriona Bradley (IIOP CEO and pharmacist) speaks to pharmacist guests about their experience in building resilience. You can hear about how pharmacists have experienced growth through adversity. Topics will include issues such as anxiety, stress, burnout, personal illness, and bereavement, as well as advice for navigating work-related issues such as challenging patient encounters and managing teams.

Pharmacists who have contributed to this podcast production have generously shared their stories to raise awareness about important and relevant issues. The result is a wonderful collection of human stories within Irish pharmacy and well worth a listen here in NZ.

A new episode will be released each fortnight.
