Resources are needed for setting up and running a business to help achieve the vision and goal of a company. To do this, you need to make sure that as a pharmacy you are all on the same page and understand the overall vision. It is not only through developing policies and procedures for a pharmacy but also through the support and development that is provided to the staff, after all, it is the staff who are going to continue to build the pharmacy to be the best.

After listening to the needs of our members, we noted that a toolkit of resources was needed to help support building a business and growing it. We have created four areas:

Employment, Performance Review, Business Responsibilities and Business Development to enhance the pharmacy, starting from the beginning steps of employment through to developing the pharmacy for the future.

These are tools that could be helpful for staff to support the pharmacy, new managers starting out or for those that have been in management for a while and need to be reminded of some steps.
