PSNZ Benevolent Fund
From time to time members find themselves in tragic circumstances and upon application, may be able to receive a one-off payment from the Society's Benevolent Fund. This fund is for the benefit of members and their dependants.
The application for a payment from the fund must come from an existing member and be in writing. All applications are considered by the President, CEO and another National Executive member.
A single payment is made in recognition of a one-off particular event and must be for a specific use. Discretionary payments of up to $5,000 can be made from the fund provided criteria are met.
The funds are not for use after natural disasters where funds are available from elsewhere. Applications may be made to the Chief Executive Officer, Pharmaceutical Society New Zealand.
