What we will deliver for you in 2022
CAREER DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT FOR EARLY CAREER PHARMACISTS
A range of new services and resources designed to support early career pharmacists with their career development. This will include a professional mentoring service, career resources, leadership training and MORE.
ADVOCACY FOR HEALTH REFORMS
We have been appointed to key Government advisory groups and will represent pharmacy as new legislation develops. We will strongly advocate for more service innovation to enable you to use your skills as health professionals. You will have the opportunity to provide input to shape the impacts on your profession as part of the Governmentâs new health reforms.
EXPANSION OF PHARMACIST SERVICES
We will extend the range of vaccination services pharmacists are funded to provide, including shingles and Tdap. Members will be able to be accredited to provide mental health management, as well as asthma and respiratory services.
COVID-19 ADVICE AND SUPPORT
We work collaboratively with the Ministry of Health and other key stakeholders to ensure you maintain your central role in the Government's COVID-19 response. Members will continue to receive practice update email alerts with pharmacy specific COVID-19 advice and key guidance on our website.
BUSINESS AND HR RESOURCES
A range of business and HR resources have been developed to help you manage and retain staff. We understand the stress the profession is under. These resources have been developed to help you create a workplace where staff are supported and highly performing members of your team.
GROWTH OF THE PHARMACY ACCURACY CHECKING TECHNICIAN (PACT) WORKFORCE
We will continue to expand the provision of training for PACTs and support the growth of the PACT workforce.
