PSNZ Innovation sub-committee

The Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand’s National Executive have a working Innovation sub-committee.

As you know, the Society has introduced new roles and services to pharmacy; such as the Community Pharmacy Anticoagulation Management Service (CPAMS), Medicines Use Review (MUR), Medicines Therapy Assessment (MTA) and Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technicians (PACT).

The Innovation Committee looks to local or regional innovations in pharmacy practice that can be further developed at a national level for the profession and the public.

We also welcome ideas and innovative concepts that individuals and work groups have, but are unable to develop and test.

Currently we are exploring Point Of Care testing and management for community patients through pharmacy.

Should you have a health service innovation you would like the pharmacists’ professional body to be involved with developing, please contact us here.
