About the event

This course is provided by College Education and Training, a business unit of Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand Inc.

We face a variety of moral conundrums daily as pharmacists...

Should we supply what the patient wants, even if we don’t think its in their best interests?

My manager wants me to upsell products that I don’t think there is any good evidence for what should I do?

One of my patients is asking about the End of Life medicines and I don’t want to provide advice about this?

I am unhappy dispensing misoprostol....

Register for this webinar to learn about moral reasoning and the personal cost of the resulting stress for the pharmacist when a required action conflicts with their personal beliefs. We will explore all aspects of professional ethics in practice, including ethical decision-making and dilemmas in practice. In a patient-centred world, do we have a right to conscientious objection or does this amount to professional negligence?
