About the event

College 2021 Training

2020 has been a challenging year for all of us and so in 2021 College Education and Training is focusing on wholeness and wellness for both the individual pharmacist and their patients.

In 2021 College Education and Training will be offering a fresh approach to how we deliver continuing education. Next year we’re introducing themed “Baskets of Learning” (or kete). Each kete is designed to give you a deep dive into a specific area of health.

Our themes for 2021 are -

Each kete will span the calendar year and consist of 4 learning modules. These will be delivered regularly during the year and all learning will be delivered “On Demand” so you can work through the modules at your own pace.

As a special offer for members, these bundles will be priced using the “buy three, get one free” model, so a kete of learning will cost a PSNZ member $174.00 inc GST. ($460.00 for non-members – no discount for buying a kete). Use one of these kete to drive your learning goals for 2021 and beyond.

The Support Kete

Kicking off the year there will be a practical workshop on “Sensitive Conversations” which will give you the tools to succesfully have difficult or tricky conversations in your day-to-day practice. Adding to the kete will be short courses on Addiciton, Men’s Health and Mental Health.

The Wellbeing Kete

The Wellbeing Kete is the broadest of our topics delivered in 2021 and will cover learning on infectious diseases, anxiety, sleep and pain.

The Lifestyle Kete

This Lifestyle Kete will cover short courses including gout, allergies, metabolic disorders and infant and lifestyle nutrition.

All courses within these kete will be available to purchase as one-off learning if you would prefer. Additionally, we are still offering our full catalogue of On Demand learning which can be found in the Resource and Learning Directory.

For more detailed information and the opportunity to register, keep an eye out for our correspondence in January.

We hope you all have a safe, happy and restful holiday season.
