About the event

This refresher training programme is for those pharmacists that have previously completed the Emergency Contraceptive Pill (ECP) Training and would like to refresh their knowledge and maybe even learn something new. Only accredited pharmacists may sell the ECP and accreditation will be checked to gain this discounted price. If you are not already ECP accredited and wish to complete the full accreditation training, click here to go to the full accreditation course information.

This course is provided by College Education and Training, a business unit of Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand Inc.

Presented by:

Dr Christine Roke, Family Planning Association

Course Information:

Only pharmacists who are accredited by the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand are able to supply the Emergency Contraceptive Pill (ECP) without prescription. College Education and Training provides the training programme which allows pharmacists to become accredited providers of the ECP.

“Refresher” Option: Did you train and gain ECP accreditation 5 or more years ago? Or, have you forgotten some of the details of training such as: when in the cycle conception is unlikely and you don’t need to supply, how effective is the ECP if taken within 12h versus 72h of UPSI, what are the risks related to repeated ECP use?

Pharmacists who are ALREADY ECP accredited may enrol for this audioconference for a special refresher rate of $55.00 per person. Listen in and refresh your knowledge! (NB: Accreditation status will be checked)

This enrolment is for the Live Webinar Refresher only. Fee includes all material and assessment.

Course materials will be available online. You will be required to:
